Back to Italy

We are approaching the end of our honeymoon trip. Tomorrow’s dawn we have a plane returning to Italy. To tell you the truth, it is a little pity to leaving this foggy town and this particular country. We have already got use to various hotels, large car, long distances, strange food, and perfect customer service.

Guys, we are really looking forward to seeing you all. Thank you for staying with us in this journey!

Back in San Francisco

We are back in San Francisco! This time we are staying in one of best hotels located at the Union Square, and it comes completely for free. This is a reword provided to us by Expedia after we booked with them more than 10 hotels in a row. It is also a good time to rest after two days of driving.

Through the desert

Today we did not want to leave from Las Vegas especially after yesterday’s night with a dinner in the grand suite and Jacuzzi with silk rose petals. But we are back on the road heading north going right through the desert.

It is really strange seeing a road going straight to the horizon with no one around. This way you become cautious with gas, food, and water. However, it can reward with a view. The most remarkable is probably from the Death Valley.

Wedding day

Today is a special day of our life. We married! It was a great ceremony in the beautiful Venus garden of Caesar’s Palace Hotel where by the authority of the State of Nevada we were pronounced husband and wife.

Right after the ceremony we had a gondola waiting for us for an appetizer cruise on the lake of Las Vegas.

Then, with a limo pickup we made a journey from the earth to the sky with a helicopter ride right on top of the lights of Las Vegas city. It is absolutely amazing!

Las Vegas Casino

Everybody, from kids to old people, is gambling here in Las Vegas. Slot machines are literally everywhere. Some of them are as cheap as 1 cent. However, the minimum on a table depends on the casino. Usually back jack and roulette start from $10 and rarely go down to $5. In V.I.P rooms minimum bets are usually around $500.
Today we were gambling too and won some to pay our bar in the evening!

Las Vegas hosts probably the best hotels in the World. Indeed, after staying in The Venetian, Caesar’s Palace, Bellagio, and Bally’s, it really becomes difficult to imagine anything more magnificent. The sizes are just enormous. Most of these hotels look like small towns with all the shops, clubs, restaurants, and casino, of course, especially The Venetian which copies details of real Venice. You can even take a gondola ride on Grand Canal flowing through the hotel.

Now we are staying in Las Vegas. Internet is for fee (not for free) and everything is gamble centric. But, guys it is just great!
We have just come back from the opera theatre. It was a masterpiece of Andrew Lloyd Webber - The Phantom of the Opera. Like someone said "There's no longer any reason to see this show anywhere else."
